Logic 4 :

To do and understand this challenge you must know some basic algebra. If you don't even know what algebra is, ask your math teacher or listen to him/her more carefully.

First let's look at the problem itself. We have 4 friends that lived in a parallelogram city. With this we know that the distance between them and the middle of the city isn't the same for everyone, but it's the same for a pair of friends only. After knowing that, let's look at the variables. Pick the one that look the biggest with the variable "m" and "k". These will be the first pair of equality. The other one will make the second pair of equality.

If you're wondering why these pairs are necessarily equal here is a little scheme to explain you.

On this representation of the city you can see the park that is the brown dot in the middle. The path that the different friend take is in blue. If you height them you should see that point A to the middle is equal to point C to the middle and same thing for point B and D.

For now all we know is this :

2.6k = m [Mark's] = [Billy's]

For the easy way, isolate the m on each equality (It's already done for the first one). After that you see that both equality equal the same thing ("m"). So why don't make the other part of the equality equal the same thing ?

If you figured out what I meant by the last question you should be able to finish it easily, otherwise think of it till you feel your brain getting really hot.
