ghost | 11502 Reads | Ok this tutorial will not teach you how to 'hack' a website, just fool the owner!
Firstly you must whois the website and find out who hosts it. A good whois site is DNS Stuff under 'WHOIS Lookup'. The website will point to 2 nameservers which are usually their web hosts name:
ns1.abcwebhost.com ns2.abcwebhost.com
So we now establish that the website you want to gain access to is hosted by a company called: abcwebhost.com
So now we need to send an email to them from their webhost! I recommend an anonymous mail program - http://www.astalavista.com/index.php?section=dir&cmd=file&id=713
Now we email the owner of the website from the email address 'admin@abcwebhost.com' and we tell them some bullsh*t about changing their password:
Dear Name, Due to updates in our hosting system we require that you change your password so that your account can be updated. Please change your password to: abcd Once the updates have been completed you will be notified so that you can change your password back. Thanks, ABC Web Host Admin
Now you wait a day or 2 and then login to their account with the password and bingo!

I do tech support for an ISP and believe me if you play your cards right it will work. This is the kind of crap kevin mitnick did to get peoples dial up accounts. Find out everything you can about the site, maybe call up tech support and make friends with the employees, and THEN ask them for the password, etc.
