this is probably a really stupid question, but how do you open it in notepad?

well i would suggest opening it in a HEX editor, but whatever you want, u just open notepad, File-Open and choose All files at the bottom (sthg like *.txt is chosen there) and then u can open anything you want,,

in notepad it dont say the pass well not that i could find.. i have no idea on how to crack it :S

take another look, or you can use a program such as a hex editor like hex workshop.

i decompiled it and i found the password to get form2 in app . then form2 tells you the password to insert in the website , don't know how but the password that app gives me is not valid in the website .

by the way , app1.exe challenge was written in VB
