APP9 - Make a Keygen the easy way

If your not comfortable with making a keygenerator, make the program self keygenerate!

1. Look for the compare or the memory address where the valid serial number is pushed to.

2. Take a note of the memory address

3. Edit the messagebox code to PUSH ^^ this address rather than the predetermined .data of 'Sorry, Try again' text

if you can do this then it will be a valuable learning experience and can be used for further challenges i.e app10 could be modified to self-keygen also :)

Lol, that makes app9 look hard. It's really simple to keygen in app 9!

i totaly understand DJ_Reaper… it's simple… good idea reaper… i thought of that but i solved it with the most simple way: OLLYDBG ;)

I too used olly to crack the program, but it was more fun making the app self keygen and usefull practice for other applications.

You so don't need a keygen for this.
