Hi ,

i managed to get the hash form the the c****** page and i cracked it with JTR but i cant log in ,, in the a****n page ..

and now JTR wont crack it again (i dont know why) > no password hashes loaded !

i really dont want to leave this chall unsolved after all i did :(

and i know that the " Change Grades " link is not working right now but hey i might pass the chall without changing the grades (cuz its down any way :D)

if its possible to pm you with hash please say so :ninja:

JTR wont crack a hash it has already cracked, again. If you want to know what it was you can bring up previously cracked hashes with "–show <file with the cracked hash>"

okay i did (re)show the usr:pass but its not working …

i'd like to send them to some to check if i'm right

Any hashes you crack are stored in "john.pot". It's in the same directory as the program, just open it up in notepad and find the hash you cracked.

well I'm confused which is the user name and which is the password

but i tried different combinations and it didn't work !

I am busy at the moment but I am trying to think what you mean, the format is username:password if that is what you mean. Can you explain it a bit better or PM me, either one. I'm just not sure what you are confused about. In fact, that is kind of confusing me…

well i have got the hash which shown like that

blablabal:bla.blablabal

right

so i copy past it in a txt file .. cracked it with JTR

i actually use two command

john-mmx –single (filename) & john-mmx –format=DES (filename)

both gave different results

then i go to the /a**** directory and use the different usernames and passwords i got from JTR but it doesn't work

i also sent you a pm explaing more :happy:
