Topics
HBH needs YOU-
To pitch some topics you'd like to argue about, that is. I thought about collaborating with the other admins about what would be the most interesting to debate until I came up with a much better idea. We're not the only ones that'll be slinging words at each other- so why should it be fully up to us what happens? You guys should be included in the decision making process, as well. So what do you guys think? What would you really get interested in? What would entice you to contribute the most?
Your suggestions should only have two sides to choose from and be relatively vague. You don't want to constrict the arguments too much. Other than that, have fun. Remember, this a a world-wide forum. Specific country history probably won't get the results that you would expect.

My ideas: the best programming language government philosophy (i.e. marxism, capitalism, socialism, etc.) scientific theories (e.g. string theory, evolution, big bang, etc.)

Oh, just thought of another. Jokes on people's race: Racism, or humour?
Lol. that is pretty funny. And it is also pretty sad that they don't know where they live. LMAO!!!!

You have to try something first before you can judge something. who knows. it might work.
Dont get me wrong, im all up for trying the idea, just saying it looks a little less promising than i'd hoped, but the new 'rules' thread lays down some pretty good ground rules, close moderation and understanding this is not a place for flaming will probably be key to the success of this project.

Well said.
korg wrote: This whole idea will end up in a pissing match with everybody hating each other Then again, it might not. What's the worst that can come from trying? A topic degrades down to nothing and I delete the sub-forum.
This is supposed to be a security forum not a debate team. Not a good idea if you ask me. Noted
Anyway, I think we'll try to stick with computer-related topics since, as korg put it, this is a security forum. I know it took me a while to get this going, but I wanted to give people time to read through and pitch their thoughts before launching it. Moshbat is also working on something related to this, so I figured I'd give him a head start. You won't have to wait much longer.
