Rapt0r - Intro
Hey everyone,
I'm Rapt0r, I'm 14 years old and live in the US. I've always been interested with computers, but I only started learning how to hack just a few months back. So far I've learned HTML, Javascript and I'm currently learning Python. I came across this site a little less then a month ago when I was doing challenges on HTS and I found the link to HBH, and since then I've been doing challenges and reading up on the articles. This is a pretty good site and I've learned alot here so far, and I hope to learn alot more.
you sound like you're making fun of him, slpctrl.
Other than that, welcome to hbh. I hope you've read the unofficial code of conduct, before going any further on this site: http://www.hellboundhackers.org/articles/863-how-not-to-annoy-other-hbh-users.html
Enjoy your stay.

Awe, is that how it sounds? :whoa:
But seriously, welcome. To be honest, most of the kids your age don't come to nothing in respect to the hacking world, but if you can discipline yourself at such a young age, you can and will be an amazing hacker.

It's just the way you replied: Kewl dewd, Awesome. It sounds like you're making fun of him, but I guess it's not true now right?

I've just had too many mixdranks and really couldn't think of any other approperiate reply. Of course I wasn't making fun of him, he probably knows more than I did at 14. If he can manage to stay disciplined and actually wants to learn coding and the exploitation of code for the right reasons, he could become an extraordinary hacker. I just have no response to give to him. :\.
Welcome. If you need anything other than challenge help (since I haven't really completed the challenges) feel free to PM me (or message me on AIM or MSN).
Python's an amazing starting language imo btw, first language I learned - gives a great basis for like PHP and a few other languages (even though I don't know why since they're really different).

I was gonna say :) but yeah python is a great language, one of the cleanest language you can get, I'd say. If it wan't for perl, python would've been clear choice!
Anway welcome here, enjoy your stay. If you need help feel free to pm, or add me on msn(even though I'm never on:)). And as slpctrl said, it's about discipline, so when you have an advantage to get into this so early, don't throw it away and make the most of it ;)

Check out the Python section of the Code Bank here if you'd like to see some Python code in action. There are a few really good pieces of code in there. :)
Sounds like you made it here like so many others (including myself and all of my imaginary friends). Good luck with your learning and progression and, though I probably won't be able to answer your Python questions too in-depth (didn't code in it for long), feel free to PM me for help in other cases.

Yeah, I read it, it was a pretty good article and I'll make sure I follow it.
Just for that, I'll give you a present. +10cp :)
Wow, thanks Moshbat :)

Come on moshbat, let the poor boy be anonymous. After all, we all do some things we're not really proud of.
Quite true. But I just thought it was worth a mention. Also thought it was quite funny XD
I'm a nice person :p EDIT: And arguing on online forums is completely pointless, so I'll disregard that "feel stupid now". Have a nice day!
