Okay, i've already got user agent switcher. I switched user agent, then pressed refresh, but nothing happened. ?_?

well, I just did it again now, so it definately works >_> are you sure that you have entered in the correct user agent name for the user agent field? like, bw3_uer_agnt for the Usr Ag*nt field in the settings for the switcher. And then activate it by going tools >> user agent switcher >> name of user agent you just made

Anyway, why is this user agent thing good?

well, it basically lets websites know which web browser you are using and which operating system you are using. I'll give you some simple examples of why it may be used:

1. By sites gathering information about the percentage usage of different web browser and operating systems for analytical uses.
2. To display different web pages depending on the web browser you are using (different browser treat some elements differently, although nowadays most people just code one page for all browsers)
3. By some 'embedded' web browsers built into other applications, to make sure you are using the page from within the application and not a web browser.
