Proxy problems

Alright, this is really a security question, but it also works with a mission (not saying what- spoiler) but I am trying to set up a proxy, but it isn't working. I go into mozilla, type in the proxy, the port, etc. and then I can't load any pages… all of them time out. (I also have a sambar— dynDNS if I can set it up there.) also, how do you tell the range of an ip? (like an example of, i unno, 200-230)

well, with a proxy your internet will go slower. now, often when trying diff proxys these slower connections will time out. keep trying them until you get a reasonably fast one.

Nvr mind- I finally found a working one. I tried many- none on page one worked (I have previously tried) and I finally found a fast one that works. thanks anyways. I beat the mission, very easy, and now I can surf-… okay , safely
