I can't seem to find the hash, I tried a multitude of different combos and with one of them I got this AuthType Basic

AuthName "Restricted Area"

AuthUserFile "//hbh/_**/c********s/12/protected0/.p"

Am I supose to get this??? If so…how can it help?!!? I have tried going to that directory…but didn't work…I almost think this is a bug because that looks like the path for a .php file from the hbh server…@_@ I know how to go about cracking it once I have the hash, but getting it is the tough part ><:(

Well if you managed to find the htaccess file, do the same thing for the .htpasswd file … To crack it, with JTR it's easy to do.

Yeah I know, I have used JTR and C&A for other things before. When I put .ht****** into the spot, it says the "your on the right track…blah blah blah" soooo am I putting it in the wrong spot? I am putting it in the url bar, and is it still in the protected folder? :angry:
