Yes the file is in the same directory as jtr and every time i type:

john-mmx hash.txt

On the directory: C:\jtr\Run (which is where the jtr is)

This message appears: The system could not locate the specified file or directory… (ALTHOUGH IT'S RIGHT THERE…)

About your post sittingbull it's not the time to crack that boders me and for them all lot's of people say on posts to dl the jtr and it works for them. My problem is why does my system doesn't even locate a file that EXISTS…

So some help would be apreciated :xx:

I don't think your getting the commands typed in right. Have you looked this over yet? http://www.hellboundhackers.org/readarticle.php?article_id=416 I had no idea what I was doing until I read the article on how to use it. You have to change the command line or point it to JTR-xxx and then run it. It has to excat names too. Hope this helps out!
