Lesson 3-Missing Something

To be honest, I'm sorry to bother you with my petty problems. But I have an agent switcher, I change agents, and restart the page. But nothing changes. I don't want an awnser but something to push me a long in the right direction.

Oh yeah dude, well if your using the one for firefox after you make the agent, it isn't pointed at it, it goes to nothing really be default, so make sure it's checked off.

Could you try and explain that better? It's not that I want more hints I just didn't fully understand what you said.

Well, let's say you made the user agent string right? And you refresh. BUT, if you go back to firefox>tools>user agent switcher, you will notice none of them are checked off, so check off the one you need.

In fact, in firefox type user:config find user_agent and place value there.

Whoah whoah whoah, all I'm doing is going to Tools>Use Agent Switcher>And clicking on a different agent> then refreshing the page. I'm obviously missing something HUGE. My best bet as of now would probably be googling how to use an agent switcher. Am I correct?

Check spelling perhaps? Copy/paste it exactly. And don't just fill it in as a description, why not put it everywhere such as appname etc

maybe if you knew what a useragent is the challenge would seem a lot more simple.

I figured it out. It was quite simple when I finally understood it. I might research it some more later to fully understand.
