Need Help With Basic 8

Okay, so i think i should be using something like this:

SELECT * FROM family_db WHERE username='Drake';

Ive read about putting the code into the address bar, but i dont know how, because when i enter it in after the url, spoaces become replaced with %20. please help. is the code im using even right? maybe i should use PROJECT instead of SELECT?
