Level 24 - A lot of questions

OK where do I start?

First I don't know much about IRC, I did read a few articles and tuts but I don't seem able to connect to the channel. I have selected both the SSL option, typed in favourite channel #basic24, what the network should be, storm.psych0tik.net it is was I have got, is this right?

When I click on connect Xchat can't find it. I am obviously doing something wrong. Could someone PM with some direction, maybe some material to read. I don't even really comprehend what the mission is (contrary to the other levels). In advance thanks. JC

Did you remember to connect on port 6697?

The commands to connect and join #basic24 in xchat are:

/join #basic24```

As for the actual mission, I can't help you there as I haven't done it yet.

Where do you enter the commands? In a Terminal window? Thanks

You can enter those in Xchat's text bar that you see at the bottom of the client's window.

Finally managed to logon. So far what I have got is the following message:

"How on earth did you get there"

I suppose I am on the right path, but now I have run out of ideas. I have read all about IRC commands etc. But nothing seems to be clear.

Anyone would be able to PM and give me some hints maybe:|
