I managed to crack it using JTR using a dictionary. It worked first time but when I tried again it would not. Does anyone know why. I am getting a "no password hashes loaded", I did type exactly the same command and the files are still there. Thanks JC

I think JTR saves the cracked passwords, so it won't work on a password that's already cracked.

Thanks, I will have to go through a JTR tutorial again to see where it saves it.

The dir you execute it from. I think it saves in .password, or password.txt or something.
