Basic 24

Its not letting me connect for some reason, any suggestions?

I get this:

And yes I have SSL enabled

What IRC client are you using?

Have you tried other IRC clients? Xchat, for example? That would have been my first thing to try.

I've never used ice chat. I'd recommend XChat2 for Windows or irssi for Linux.

I do it with mIRC. I posted something about it not too long ago.

i think irc.psych0tik.net server is closed. i can't get response from it. btw can anyone tell me what did u get when this server is running?

Umm, Because it's about basic web hacking 24 maybe? Have you looked at the challenge before posting?

Whenever I connect to the IRC I see my nickname in the idlers column, but I see no bot?

Am I missing something extremely simple here?

I'm using the Mibbit online IRC client, if that helps at all; but I have had the same result with xChat.

My server string is irc.psych0tik.net:+6697 with #basic24 as the channel.

Do you have SSL enabled? I just connected with XChat seems fine.

I'm having the same issue as Olly. Can successfully join irc.psych0tik.net/6697 #basic24 using Xchat, but I see no bot. /help works, but not @help.

Does Basic 24 need its challenge page updated, or is it currently down..?
