I've completed the chalenge but its like i didnt do it myself cause i dont understand why does htpasswd.php has to be in that directory ??? Is there any logical explanasion ??? feel like an idiot :(

Well there isn't any 'logical' explanation, but it should've help you to think more outside the box, and identify possible location of file which you are looking for. Lot of times during web hacking you don't know where all the files you need are, so you have to collect all the clues you have and make an assumption of the location…
