flash 4

ive managed to de-compile the swf file and I found an interesting file (hint if it is the right one: markup"am I on the right track?"), but I cant access it, I simply get a 404… I've tried other directories - but alas, no luck… can anybody give me a little nudge in the right direction?

This really is an easy one guys….. look around and, if necessary, you might need to 'base' your attack from another angle to get the pass.

ive decomplied the swf and I found a mp3 (file isnt even in swf or on the site or i just havent found it) then I decided to look deeper and I found a werid string with &pass in it .. have u seen it yet? it seems some kind of encryption that is being passed in the URL.

You all say to look deeper, but where should i look deeper? I also found the mp3 in the swf, and it isn't at the site or in the swf. So where should i look deeper?

you don't need to look deeper, just somewhere else. You're not looking for an mp3 file, at least as far as I know…

"Look deeper" actually fits quite well ;) but you don't get it until you find the pass so it's not that much of use :/

ok let's not keep giving hints, they've already been told its not the mp3 and they need to look around more.

so I found what seem to be a password it also look encrypted somehow….

no shure what to do next, I tried adding to url…maybe my syntaxt is wrong?

OK, is it in the ActionScript or what? I don't see a reference to &pass… but then again I don't have a good flash decompiler. Anyone know a good freeware flash decompiler with full features?

I'm really stuck, anyone got any advice? I don't think its in the ActionScript whatever it is i'm lookign for… It's got to be an external file, but I don't see any refs to it and I don't know quite what I'm looking for…

which decompiler did you use synstealth to get it? I have one but i see no &pass string.

There is no &pass string in the Flash File…you need to folow the files that the Flash File uses on the webpage. Try to look thru every file carefully. If you dont get it PM me with what you got.:ninja:

OH MY GOD. i read this thread 14 times after i found the encrypted part and looked for EVERYTHING on google. 64 bit led me to WEP/PSK encryption and that just totally got me lost. i just read another post in here 1 more time and a bullhorn went off in my head screaming "DUMBASS!!!". yeah guys, after u find the encrypted part just re-read the thread a couple of times…

I cant get the pass.. I think it's in _***t but i keep getting 404 Not Found error.. Please help..
