My website - Suggestions please?

Hey all, I decided to get a little more into web developing and decided to develop a website for my sister. She makes a lot of jewelry and what not as a hobbie, and it all just sits around. This website is dedicated as an online store to sell the stuff she makes.

The online store section of the website is built thanks to osCommerce. If you don't know what that is feel free to google it :-P. I like it a lot!

Any suggestions or ideas for the website is MUCH appreciated, keep in mind I am a beginner so don't be too harsh on me =Þ Thank you all very much!

Hey r3drock3t88, First of all, nice work, looks neat, Suggestions:

• Maybe a little bit more work on the banner, it still looks a bit like changed ms-word,
• I would advise you to look at the colors of the subpages again,

Technically it's great, just some minor design thingies. Keep up the good work!

Yeah, definately work on the banner a little bit, try taking out her face (no offense, but the face is kinda creepy). That and maybe you can keep the same layout as the index, it changes once you go anywhere else. Maybe a different color combination would be nice… the shit brown and turqoise dont look to good with eachother…. But hey, at least im honest. Besides that, its nice :happy:

Also, not sure exactly what it means.. but when i click on the "New Products" link, i get something on the top of my screen that says markupWarning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /home/christ33/public_html/store/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file.

might want to check that one out :)

…… The fault lies in the fact taht the file has too high permissions already… whouldn't it have 400?

Good work on the site. As already said you could maby change color a bit and maby edit a little on his/her face:whoa:. Other than that the site looks pretty good;)
