Hosting Domain Windows server 2003 Enterprise Edition

Im having trouble hosting a domain from my computer when running windows server 2003 enterprise edition.

I have read a few things about domain forests online but they lead into purchasing a book.

If you could help me I would be extremely greatful - And if there is an easier way you have found to host a domain from home then let me know!
