So lets say you had a decent pc and all connected Switches had STP on as default.

Now you claim to be a switch (and act like one) with both your ethernet ports plugged into a single switch. You then Send out a broadcast for a random MAC.

Would it work?

Playing with arp DOS on 100mb connection:

ARP type: request.

SRC MAC: random SRC IP: the gateway DEST MAC: FF FF FF FF FF FF DEST IP: 255.255.255.255.

DHCP server (random everything), to catch people requesting new ips to get back online.

Almost instant too. How on a professional gigabit network does this work so well?
