This just started to happen, but when i open a it chooses the explore option or is just opens the search fucking in windows. The folders used to just open normal. It pretty annoying to keep having to right click open to get where i need to go. I checked all the folder options and any other option related to folders and i can't seem to figure out how to change the way a folder is opened. I am using windows XP by the way. Thanks for any help.

You're not using a Windows Mod program like TweakUI or anything like that are you? If so, uninstall or restore defaults on the program….or do a system repair via a windows boot disk.

I can never say it enough for windows users….after a fresh install, back up your system registry. Like backing up your config files in linux, it can be a life-saver.
