My computer is extremly slow, any ideas?

My computer takes like 10 minutes to load a simple web page like google and even offline it is slow is there any free programs to spee it up? It's a Dell Inspiron 9300 {laptop} Running windows :(

You have an anti-virus, anti-spyware ? If not you should probably install one. AVG and Adware should be good the clean most of your computer.

clean out all your temp files as well, http://www.ccleaner.com/ "ccleaner" is a great program to do that for you, you'll be amazed at all the crap that builds up, and how much there actually is.

–also in that program theres a startup tab which allows you to have a quicker startup by disabling any programs you dont need. i suggest cleaning up your startup as well, as the processes being uneccessarilly used in the background can cause a decrease in performance as well.
