A friend came to me and asked me for help on his computer.It is an HP Pavillion a6037c PC,when I connect it to the power supply,and all I press the button but I dont get any signal on the monitor. The CPU gives one short beep and one long beep.I have read up on this and heard about this meaning a memory problem.Could anyone please tell me how to fix this?

Just look it up in the manual (you can find them online) or just for the line. There is no reason that the codes should be the same between bios's. Though it may well be so.
