please help i get this when i want to start wind XP "The VirtualBox kernel driver is not accessible to the current user. Make sure that the user has write permissions for /dev/vboxdrv by adding them to the vboxusers groups. You will need to logout for the change to take effect.." please help i really need this:(:(:(:(:(

go to manage groups in your distro of choice. add yourself to vbox group (itll be called something like vboxusers or watever) then log out log back in.

i shall now perish for not telling you how to do it in the command line

If it's already installed, you can type, "run VTMbOx" under cmd.

Wham.

no no he cant run it cos he doesnt have group permissions. he needs to change that, then run it. meaning he cant start virtualbox much less that program he wants to run on it

i did this ty you for help but know it starts and then stops and print "FATAL: No bootable medium found! System halted." then i restart virtual box ose and it print down to press F12 for selecting boot device and i have there "virtualbox temporary boot device selection

  2. Hard disk
  3. CD-ROM
  4. LAN

0)continue booting" then i press 2 for hard disk and then again "FATAL: No bootable medium found! System halted." what to do please help :(:(
