Looking for laptop battery - Help PLZ :)

Hey all,

The battery in my laptop only lasts at most an hour with all settings set to the lowest and it just being on. I am looking to replace my battery with a longer lasting one but I do not want to buy an incompatible one.

My laptop is custom built via www.ibuypower.com. Could anyone please assist me on which battery to search for?

Also, consider yourself lucky, the battery on my laptop lasts five minutes on full charge :P

Hey all! Thanks for the responses.

I do plan on buying it off ebay considering the great deals you can find there, but my problem is finding the right battery…

I've found that my batterys model number is: BTY-M66 , it's 11.1v and 4.4 Ah whatever that means lol.

I know batteries are fairly expensive so I wanted to make sure I bought the right one…and that is a shame yours only lasts 5 minutes! I do feel lucky knowing i can get through half a movie where you can get through the opening scene ;)…

I just recently purchased a laptop battery from ebay.. erm..JustDeals.com was the sellers… excellent buy… I just matched up the serials off of my current battery and ordered the same on.. checkin the dimensions of course.. they of course with my luck sent me the wrong one.. but i called em and they fixed it right away, apologized and had the correct battery to me by the next day! just thought i'd throw that in their for ya..
