Audio troubles

Hey, recently I tried playing audio on my computer (I donno what happened that caused this, a girl spent the night at my house and she was using my PC after I passed out) anyway, I'm getting an error in winamp saying something along the lines of bad DirectSound driver. Audio won't play at all, nor will my sound card drivers install (it says sound card isn't recognized). I've tried everything I know of to no avail. Any tips? :(

Try rolling back the driver or a restore point

Check your hardware, rewire it too.
