Steam
I have recently been having lots of trouble with steam and Counter Strike : Source
I downloaded steam two days ago, along with counterstrike source.
I played on it today for about 1hour, rebooted my computer and now ehn i try and load up steam i get a "Steam has stopped working message"
I have tried disabling everything but to no avail
If you have any suggestions please say :D
Thanks in advance..
my advice is to check out the steam forums, and post there in more detail of what your problem actually is.
Sorry about the delayed responce,
Yes i am using a legit version of steam from www.steampowered.com
I have just installed it on my other laptop with no problems..
It only went awol after i played CSS, Then It just wont load..
When i double click the steam icon it just goes straight into the steam has stopped working.
Yes i have deleted everything from program files and temp ect.
I have disabled it as a service and yet again nothing..
I just don't know what to do.. My next option is a full vista reinstall
OOOOH, i am using a cracked version of vista ultimate if that makes any difference, all though my other laptop is and it works fine on there..
Thanks again

Right click, run as administrator, might help if not, reinstall but backup the GCF and NCF files so you dont have to download again, be sure to clear out Steam folder after unistalling.
