rooting 1 confusion

iv read the other posts in this forum and have been unable to work out this challenge. so far its been like trial and error tryin to make commands work, slowly building up a string of commands that all work. ill post what iv achived so far

ftp open 69.13.37.42 changed directory back to /

now nothing seems to work, i can get back to / ok but then i cant go foward to /***/

i know im doing something rather stupid wrong, any advise welcome

well,actually…not much is going to be working :P

do you have any idea,what directory/file(maybe both) you're looking for?
