Hello, I am sufficent in routing and switching and such…. I can network anything you give me.. however when it comes to ftp i dont understand it…. I googled it… and tried the cd command… but dont know where to start… I also went through the forums and articles about this challenge and couldnt find anthing to help me…

Im not any bit proficient in linux let alone ftp for linux… I understand the commands are different from dos.. however I dont know where locations of specific files are… specifically password files….

I can get into the ftp and the first directory it brings it to you… but nothing past that except the line that appears after everything I try… which is "connection lost ftp>"

Argg… its driving me insane…

I want to leanr about this because I believe it will help me with my job… which is a tactical network specialist for the marine corps.. so yes i am a marine….

Hmmm ne help would be greatly appreciated….

I dont really understand why people have so much problems with rooting its easy just use the help command or the equivalent to find out all the commands you need then from then on its pretty damn easy. SANTA (sorry about the unrelated post i just wanted the most people too see it)
