CANT OPEN /ECT/

ok. i connected to directory. but… if i type anything at all i get connection lost… i've tried diffrent versions of cat, cd, and other crap that i find. nothing works. i'd ask to PM someone but im at an absolutly dead end. i've been working on it since 5 today with 2 breaks. and still have nothing. i've read. EVERy post in this forum. racked thro google and read and re-read the mission/articles the command doesnt seem to be right… i've seen tons of hints but im missing the something that connects them. any help would be appreciated.

alright, it has to be THE exact command, and i believe you have to go one directory at a time. Also, did you spell /etc like it's spelt in the title of this thread?

you can only move one directory at a time… and if you type a / it will log you off
