the text doesn't really go with the image, and its slightly stretched.

if you add a border it might look better.

what program did you use? gimp/ps/psp?

its nice, not too busy. one thing i would say is to try and find a bigger panther image . i dunno if its just me, but it looks a little blurred and stretched.

im using the Gimp.. i need photoshop for this kind of thing.. ill see what i can do about resizing it and ill play around with some borders

trust me…you dont need photoshop. gimp is pretty much photoshop anyway, although maybe slightly toned down. if you want the easiest image manipulation, for me it has to be fireworks. but if you dont want to pay/be too illegal, gimp is fine.

well i have never used gimp, i use a cracked photoshop cs3 (tried fireworks but tbh… i hate it). For a border its usually called a stroke on the image layer, and resizing it… well that should be easy.

Try looking for some online tutorials and play around. Its the only way to learn, download some brushes, some renders and stock and maybe some new fonts too :D

needs a 1px black border, dont like the text colour or font. Image looks streched and out of proportion … other wise nice image … ;)

okay resizing now… what kind of font would you suggest for the lettering… i was looking for a screamo type.. like with long stretched sharp letters and this is pretty much the closest i could come up with

I would suggest ordering each line of text more appropriately … And perhaps italicise it …. Im thinking a lighter colour font also ….

it doesn't get much lighter than the bright acid green ^_^ but yea ill look around for it what do you mean about the lines?

johnjuan728 wrote: it doesn't get much lighter than the bright acid green ^_^ but yea ill look around for it what do you mean about the lines? Well ….. The first line of text is to the left … then one is kinda centered .. then one is off centered … order them slighly ….

well the text would look better if it was the same colour scheme as the sig… so maybe a light purple would look good. Also, its hard to read, and if you look at really professional sigs, you realise that the text is fairly small, and the image is the main focus.

ill give you my sig as an example (only because i know i did it in it).

the word "necr0six" is still there, you can see it, but it is soft and merged in to the background. if i hadnt have done that, it would stand out too much and as said, detract from the main focus. in gimp this is easy. just set the layer mode of the text to soft light and duplicate untill you get the right transparency.

yea i see what you mean… does this go a little better still needs work i know ^_^

[edit] blick whoa nvm it looked better before it was .jpg [/edit]

yes, now try the border, and then maybe we can try some techniques to add some more interest :D

talk about mentoring. :)

its getting there…I can get you Adobe Photoshop CS2, which is what I use now, if you want it…its better then GIMP, GIMP has less features or are just harder to find the features….well for me at least

Okay here's the link for the keygen: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=JSZIDGTW

Here's the link to download Adobe Photoshop CS2: http://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/photoshop/win/cs2/Photoshop_CS2_tryout.zip

and this is just a lil info on using the keygen: Use the key gen to generate a serial numbers then install full version leaving the keygen open. After install choose activation options and choose activate by phone. You will then see a code which you then enter into the keygen and this will generate another code to activate the program. Enter this and away you go!!
