k im not going to lie, i need some help with , kinda stuff (doberman security flash drive)

k, heres the problem, my parents have tried locking me out of the home computer several times each time i found away around there lock, (it uwas usually just some lame *** excuse for a password that i just went into safemode and got around it) well each time i figured it out they would change it, finally they gave up with the userpassword crap and i thought i won. well i find out they ordered this thing called a doberman security flash drive (thing), what it does is it locks the computer down unless u know the password or u have this remote control thing where u press a button and it unlocks the computer. well i figured out a temoprary way around it, i go into safe mode. well bad part is my safe mode wont let me play sound on the speakers. so i wanna get the password for this domberman security but i dont know where to start, i cant find the file anywhere to get some hints from it, any one got any suggestions? if u wanna talk to me further about this e-mail me at

well, if you can at least use the computer sometimes, put a temp keylogger and get the password, then delete it. That would be the easiest way. but if you can explain a little more about it, that would be great :)

k ill try to explain the details about this crappy-evil device as possible.

its like a flash drive, that comes with this electronic key. what program it uses i dunno, how exactly it works i dunno. all i know is when the key, is a certin distance away it locks up the computer weather the flash drive is in or not. the only way to unlock the computer is by either puting in a password, or clicking the button on the electronic remote. it locks down the signal to the screen i think, i remeber reading what it does, and it said somthing about locking down the screen.

when its locked, the screen is all blue, and has a door in teh lower right hand corner. that says exit. when u click the door a box comes up that has the date and a place to type the password, other then that you cant do anything else. the computter is compleately locked down

so just go in the bios and change it to boot from cd and install backtrack or something. then use the internet or anything through that.

do u know where i can find a good free one taht wont give me spyware, spam, or viruses?

Well a keylogger is a malware. You would have to use like prorat or some other keylogger. then you would just turn off your anti virus and just run it. when you have gotten the key, just remove it.

ill think about it.

right now im in safe mode, and thats one of the ways around this stupid blocker, but when i play a song or somthing i cant here music, thats the main reson for this, so if u know how to play sound from the speakers while in safe mode then, itll solve my problem :P

normally if you are in safe mode on a windows, you should not be able to use the internet. How is that possible for you?

to tell u the truth…..i have no idea, i have dsl, im in safe mode with networking, i know if i click regular safe mode i cant go on the internet, so my guess it has somthign to do with the networking.

i have to look into that. That kinda sounds a little fishy to me though.

ok, be my guest, i telling the truth, mabe my uncle (whos like some kind of computer wiz) did somthing where i can acess the internet when im in safe mode, or mabe its because i have windows vista? i dunno.

in safe mode, i know you cannot play sound properly. you will just hear that beeping sound. You cannot play sounds.

yeah i tried but i dont know the right key words and i dont have time for goiing throgh google pages.

go to google and look for snoops thats a pretty neat little program i found off the net. it gets all the key strokes but they are all jumbled. but it is not really considered as a Trojan.

1. internet in safe-mode - yeah, it is possible, you just have to set "OnBoard BOOT LAN" on Enabled
2. try to run msconfig in safe-mode and uncheck every startup process and service, then reboot and run windows commonly… if it goes well then just find that fci*g damn thing and cut its wings… if it doesn't work then do it as someone said here… move to some linux distribution

That would be his best bet.
