Why?

This is directed to many of the HBH users that have been around HBH for awhile, done the majority of the challenges already, etc.

Why do you guys still visit HBH?

I mean even though I don't login much anymore, I still visit the site quite a few times a week to see if there are any interesting articles / threads. Rarely do I come across any good threads, but occasionally I will find a decent article.

Do you guys just come to HBH to hang out and talk in the forums, or what? I'm not trying to cut HBH down because it's great for beginners, but for people that have already learned everything there is that HBH currently offers, why are you still here?

Are you guys planning on HBH reaching a higher learning ground for advanced users to further their knowledge, or what?

Just curious and I'd love to hear what you long-time users have to say about HBH's future. I'd like to know whether or not other people are willing to contribute quality content because if so then I might get re-involved with HBH. Otherwise, I'll be back to lurking and staring at pointless threads about newbs.

hmm… you were saying? There's an endless supply of knowledge out there, and I would agree that there comes a point when you think you've beaten everything, that's the point when you start making harder challenges for fun.

I'm not saying that you have learned everything "out there", but specifically on HBH.

i may have learned many of the things hbh has to offer, but there are people here who i can still learn quite a bit from. also, i like to help those who dont know as much as i do becuase you can grow just as much from teaching as you do from learning.

I'm here to be a huge pretentious dick/troll and help people once in a while. Though, I keep finding myself saying that I feel my time here is short.

I get bored, you know? Not much to do.

There are plenty of other communities out there with more in-depth and specified discussion.

I think one of the problems with HBH is that it's far too general in its goals and focus. It's just about "hacking", and tries to encompass everything in that realm, which it doesn't even know how to define.

Once a user gets to a point where they feel that they know what they want to pursue in computer security, the lack of focus on specific topics here will drive them away.
