If you read under the bug section you'll see what the problem is. I can't keep myself logged in. I have tried all the basic suggestions, nothing has worked. Would I be better off registering another account.

so you were obviously able to login since you made this post right? when did it log you back out?

Yes I can login when using a proxy. The problem I get logged out every time I try to do something. I used to browse around the site without a proxy but not no more. I have tried everything.

Update I can login fine without a proxy. New problem I get the message connection to server reset…..here is the interesting part if i refresh say like 3 times i get through to the page i was trying to view. Sometime when a page does load there is no background just words only.

give some more info about the situation like: what browser, op system, active plugins, etc. i dont know if any of that is important, but it doesnt hurt to have more info than needed.

also, i had a somewhat similar problem when i used the google web accelerator. if it's turned on it refreshes everything (including all of your cookies) whenever you load a new page so it essentially logs you out whenever you do anything.

edit: also, when did the problem start?

windows xp sp2, mozilla firefox now add ons turned on..I was logging in with no proxy server and all was well and saturday I couldn't get in. I turned my proxy on and I could get in but couldn't stay logged in. I can get in now by using direct connection in firefox but I have to refresh between 3 to 5 times before I can get in. Using the proxy wouldn't be so bad other than I get logged out every time I open a link.

are you on dail up perhaps?

some of the loading issues you desribed are due to poor loading speeds and stylesheet not being loaded etc. usually due to poor connection speeds.

maybe flushing your dns cache might fix it. open command prompt and use these 3 commands:

ipconfig /flushdns
net stop dnscache
net start dnscache

also going through about:config to see if any settings could be causing it.

The problem you have is more than likely with WildBlue. I have seen this before. Their latency timing has increased so much over the last year. The raw speeds are fine for uploading and downloading, But as far as secure sites, vpn, and anything encrypted the latency timings are so high that you'll only be viewing text sites. They run it at a slower timing to squeeze out as much bandwith as possible.Remember how far this shit has to travel between. Read this and learn more on latency and why satellites suck:
