Articles on this site have weird characters

Whenever I am reading an article on this site in XP (I normally use Linux but sometimes I am to lazy to reboot into it) all the single quotes and a few other characters are replaced with unknown symbols which is distracting and hard to read. How may I fix this

You can't "Fix this" The people who wrote those articles were trying to look 1337. It's simply alternative characters you can use with your keyboard Read this:εÉþ http://www.tedmontgomery.com/tutorial/ALTchrc.html

Try to change your browsers' character encoding.

That's MS Word's version of a single quote, from where people write their articles in Word and then copy it into the submission box.
