Useful Protel 7000 information

If you ever experience problems with programming a Protel payphone board to make free calls, do the following:

1.) Enter the program mode by pressing the program button with the phone on Hook.

2.) remove the handset from the hookswitch, and listen for a " beep "

3.) dial 00+( the number the phone is hooked up to)

4.) Listen for the " beep "

The phone has now been set to default. Call rates will be raised to a dollar, but you should notice that when you program the correct call bands to be free, they should be FREE.
