Weird and yet so powerful guy.

I have had this Cleroth called dude on my MSN list for ages. Now today he spoke me once again and I was mad at something and said pretty bad at him. He told me that he doenst speak to someone who doesnt respect him. I just asked that why should I respect him and he told me that I should respect everyone. Everything seemed fine, I went to play couple of round of Dystopia and came back "You have logged out cause you have logged in a diffrent location." I was like wtf? then I logged back in and boom: only Cleroth remained in my MSN contact list.

How the fuck did he do that? My secret question answer is some gibberish and he doesnt know me at all. He didnt try to SE me anyhow nor send me anything.. Only things he had was my email and my nick: Archer..

Maybe he has installed a keylogger on your computer ;)

I dont think that any bruteforcer really can do it in 5 minutes, and no, it wasnt too easy guessable, 7 digits, 2 upper case and 1 number, rest of em lower case.. and no, I have no life so he couldnt be in touch with me IRL, and yet none should know my password.. Most likely atm I'd like to get a way to revenge.

You realize how much people come in her with stories like that, don't attempt to learn anything, but expect us to help them with revenge on someone none of us know

I bet its a bug in MSN system…

So yet none doesnt know how did he exploit this possible bug? Or what can be done to protect me and others from such assholes?

Yes I reported him, but I cant expect for an answer this quick..

Either he stole your cookie through XSS or it could be these

Couldnt be. He didnt point me to any websites, I didnt have any browsers open, I DONT use internet explorer, nor MSN 6.2 (7.2 is what I use). Thanks for trying

You know…it is entirely possible that you were SE'd. Most people who are social engineered over a period of time, have no idea that they were compromised…
