Am I going about the right way of doing this mis….I mean challenge? :ninja:
Haha you wanna see something really strange…
Take a print screen while playing a video in WMPlayer.
Then paste it into MSPaint.
Then save it…
And open it again.
Play any video in WMPlayer.
It'll be playing inside the bitmap.
Strange, no?
If you try to get around it by saving the file (in MSPaint) as a jpeg, it'll just appear black.

The reason for that is because AVI (And mosts other Video files) write directly to the Graphics Memory. When you try to make a copy of this, you're making a copy of references in the RAM to the Graphics Memory. (As far as I understand it.)

Correct ^^ to copy this information, you must capture it with applications designed specially for that, for example Fraps.
