So do tell me what you think guys! Plus I still have some cash on my bidget .. So anything you think i need .. or need to upgrade/change .. please tell us :D
RAM 2 x 1GB Dual channel. DVD SATA but not neccessary lightscribe and not neccessary ASUS. Graphic NVIDIA 7300 is now OK and it looks like the ASUS one is prepared for the motherboard, otherwise I would think about another manufacturer. Not S-video to HDMI but full HDMI socket and probably VIVO input. Everything is low noise so now you can think about silent fan for CPU and the way to quiet HD , and DVD ( some drives are very noisy). I use ASUS motherboards for some years now quiet happy with them ,and recently I happen to buy p5b deluxe , but now I have mixed feelings. Deluxe is moreless the same as p5b plus but has extra wifi and the remote ( that's the reason I've bought it). The board is nice but has a bizzarre IDE/SATA onboard solution and takes a lot of time changing the BIOS settings to make it run smoothly. The problems were with connecting SATA and IDE hardware that didn't wanted to work together, but you will have both HD and DVD SATA , so see no major problems here. Any linux older than two years from now has the problems with recognising SATA drives so it will rather not run on this MB, but then distros from this year work fine and you can enjoy 64 versions. Oh, and Windows will probably work on this as well…

djdotti wrote: Awsome! I still need to hunt around for an lcd monitor .. How ever I want one compatible for tv OR :O:O:O I could buy a tv card!!!! If you're after one that can use a TV as a monitor, then I've found that most video cards I've seen nowadays have them. A TV Tuner Card just serves the purpose of watching TV on your PC.
