external harddrive...

whenever i am doing something, a little message pops up saying: memory is low!. i have a thumb drive, but that is full. my hard drive's total space is 19.1 GB, but i only have 40mb left. i went looking for external hard drives, and i found some of these:

memory is low could be refering to your RAM (but you would need a larger hard drive anyway if you only have 40 MB left)

how much RAM do you have

where do you find how much RAM you have left?

if your running windows, rightclick on My Computer and hit properties it should be in general

256mb of ram, but i think that is the total space, and not the space left

If you want to find out how much available RAM you have, just click the start button and pull up the "run" box. Then type in "msinfo32" (without the quotes) and hit "OK".
