internet speed

i m getting less internet speed than my roomie for the same wifi,lan and even same modem connection.plz tell some soln.

You can change the settings inside of your wireless router. I believe it should be under 'Applications and Gaming' and then under the 'QoS' tab. You can adjust the bandwidth priority of each physical address individually if you wish.

Are you running off the same wireless signal? He might be running 80211N while you run 80211G or something. Not only that, but he may have a more powerful cable than you. Both can determine your internet speed after the router.
