What makes you think the drivers have anything to do with this?

Stop acting like a 12 year old.

And if you want to troubleshoot a network card, a good place to start is WireShark. In the top menu bar go to Capture >> Interfaces >> Details. There's a note on the bottom of the details box that says something like "these values rely on the network card driver." - So you can compare what it should be running like to what WireShark says it's running like. There is a good chance the card has a week range, from what you said. I'm not a wireless wiz, but I think you can boost the range on the sending or receiving ends. Google that.

You could have messed up the configuration, or the drivers are bad to begin with. If there are no other drivers available from the manufacturer, you can try a Linux LiveCD/USB and see if it's any better.

edited to make it more polite.

There's some confusion here because your English blows. What wireless card are you trying to fix, the laptop or the HP desktop your getting drivers for? Post your make and model of what your working toward fixing first, May be able to boost it up a bit.

as korg said, give us all the information that you are trying to get.

This may not be something that a driver hack will fix, but it may be something that a little tweaking will fix.
