guys i need help

is it possible to use an external hard disk for laptops which have flash memory?

and one more thing {i know its silly}:xx: - can we use an optical DVD drive like an add on on laptops just like the way you use an external hard disk? its like you can connect it to the laptop and operate it and you can remove it when you don't need it

you can use an external hard drive if you have usb ports to connect it to…

and you can buy external cd drives that you can disconnect when you dont need them
