nice i figured out how to read this I still dont really understand how the thread numbers are distributed this one is 59 so is the next one up 58 and so on? i guess ill have to figure that out

The next one down would be 58, wouldn't it? If the next one up was 58, what would happen when they reached 1? A small explosion??? :o :(

no they dont go in order ill look at my site and try to figure it out.

The thread ids are in order of when they're posted. The first post (ANYWHERE!) would be id 1, the second would be id 2, and so on.

The only way I figured out which one this one was was by posting a post right after it and took that id down one.

so why does this forum have an 18 and so does another it might be in order like within this and off topic but not the others

You only have to veiw the source on the page that contains the blank link, it doesn't take that much effort, and I should know, I play the Banjo!
