Java Tutorial

My school offers a Java class, where we obviously learn Java. But thing this is, the teacher doesn't even know how to turn a computer on, let alone teach a Java coarse.(Everyday day for the past 2 weeks, we have gone over the exact same PowerPoint.)

So I was wondering if any of you guys knew where I could find an online Java tutorial, so I can actually learn something.

w3schools has good info on java, and you might wana check out some common torrent sites for java ebooks. I have a few pdf's on Java myself, and they can be quite helpful.

w3schools has stuff on Javascript, if they do have anything on Java then I must have missed it, here are the sean greasly tutorials on Java, they're videos and cover many topics that are used from the basics to sockets and multi-threading, gui, and both applets and regular applications.\
