Php Portal

Hey,

Dose anyone here know any tutorials that could help me develop a simple flash portal where people can upload flash files to my site and let people view them?

I'm not looking for someone to write me the script or anything as i wish to learn how to do this not just copy someone else's script. I just want to be pointed in the right direction.

So if you know of any tutorials that could help me could you please give me the link?

Do you mean the PHP code to allow you to upload an embed it within Actionscript or are you talking about generating SWFs on the fly?

nope, more like a script where users can upload .swf files and they can be featured on a sites front page where people can view, vote, comment etc. And say if the flash game, animation gets so many poor votes it gets dropped from the database.

An example would be newgrounds.com or flashportal.com

might wanna be careful with SWF files, the action script can be harmful if it runs on the server. But anyways you can learn PHP from PHP.net its a great resource :)

Maybe you should take a look at every submission before posting them on the page? :right:
