QBasic Text Graphics Game...Orly?!

Yarly! >_> Hehe hey everyone. It's been awhile since I've been active here. Quite busy with school and all.

So for my programming class, we're supposed to make a text graphics game in QBasic. Yeah, fun..How..Dynamic. Anyway, yeah I was thinking a Bowling game or something to that effect. Any other good ideas?

maybe like a basic fps, like those war on terrorism games on newgrounds? i like pointless violence and killing. if your looking for something easier, maybe something like tetris, pac man, or some other old-school game

Tetris sounded pretty good. Pacman, possibly too extensive for the language seeing as how it's so…Basic? :P And I can't do anything violent [which sounds uber cool] because it's for school. Sigh. Thanks man! ^^

i made a supermaro game when i was 11.. so id say you could pull it off. there are still some fan sites around for Qbasic.. id google it for ideas..

A mario game is pretty violent. I'd say something with terrorists you get to see them everyday on TV, they are not scary anymore.

Serious: do a really simple RPG =). You don't need much for that + they rock.

Pacman was the first game I ever coded actually XD In qbasic too XD

RPG's easy, not really the most entertaining though :p Plus take a loong time to make (story n all).
