Hello,

I'm starting PHP, and don't know much about it, so I downloaded the installer, installed it, and there is now a php.exe, php-cg-.exe file in the PHP directory.

The next thing I did was setup textpad added the tool, php-ggi, to the toolbar, so wheneverI press it, the content I wrote in the textpad PHP file is take as an argument to PHP-cgi.exe, I did a little hello world test, anditsaid hello world, okay, with "tool completed successfully", is this how I will write the php applications?

I mean, have I set things up right to code apps in PHP?

well it seems as if it would be set up correct. if you want to work with databases, download mysql as well. im assuming you downloaded apache already and set that up? well actually did the Hello World come up in your browser or cmd?
