Coding Music
I usually listen to songs that always distract me from my work, it seems to keep me sharp for when there are real distractions around, and what I mean by that is I listen to really catchy lyrics or songs that I like that I can't help but follow along to in my head. I usually listen to Punk Rock/Pop Rock/Emo , I extremely despise all screamo music seeing as it serves no real purpose other than giving someone money to scream like an idiot >.>

Children of Bodom are easy to understand, take "Downfall" for instance…
"The night of timeless fire is drawing near, I flee blah blah blah"
Point proven :)

Anyway, I listen to a little bit of almost everything. Everything good, anyway :P (Rock/Metal/Techno/90's dance music/etc.)
Rockon ;) it's good to listen to a variety of music…as for the whole "not being able to understand what they're saying" deal, if you can't understand them, try harder…and believe it or not, most "screamo" bands are way more comprehensible than a lot of the "rap" they play these days…
So, to actually answer the question of the topic, I listen to a huge variety of things, ranging from Sheryl Crow to Haste The Day… ^_^
